Pelvic Floor muscles need both strength and tone for stability as well as flexibility to properly support the lower back, hips, legs, and knees. Pain and other problems in these regiions can arise from under active or overactive pelvic floor muscles.
During the three hour workshop we use both active and restorative postures, you will understand why each pose is beneficial, experience their effects in your body and begin to understand the anatomy of the PF and supporting musculature.
You will come away from this workshop with tools for your home practice, resources for exploration, a community of those who share similar experiences, and a secret tool for releasing stored tension or trauma from your own PF, in addition to your enitre bodymind!
This workshop is appropriate for those with a range of diangnoses; such as, pelvic tension myalgia, hyptertonicity of the pelvic floor, incontinence, or prolapsed organs.
